Some people have the idea that they have 12 demerit points !!

This is NOT how it works !!

You start out with ZERO and as you get caught for any offence/s you attract De-merit points and then once they accumulate to 12 or more then there are disciplinary actions via Service SA also working on a scale ratio as to how many over 12 points you have.

To get rid of these points that you accumulate you wait for a period of 3 years from the comitted offence/s

I hope this clears things up a bit for some of you ?
